Monsters of Folk
Just discovered the Monsters of Folk album with music collaboration from folk/indie music gurus, M. Ward, Conor Oberst, Yim Yames & Mike Mogis (Oberst & Mogis from Bright Eyes) (Ward is also the other half of She & Him, making music with Zooey Deschanel)
Check out these songs from the self-titled album:

Retro Style – Patio Furniture
My roommate and I are looking to update our small outdoor patio – I was thinking of adding a little style with some fun and vintage folding chairs like the one in the pic below. Once we are done with the patio I will add pics.
Contemplate This…
I was having a conversation with some friends the other day about our generation (born in the late 70′s and early 80′s) and the lack of interest in having the 8-5 job that lingers in your mind after 5. How nice would it be at the end of the day to not have to think about your job when you leave? Soceity barely allows us enough time to enjoy our friends and family and for what? Money. Success. (who defines what success is?) I’ve always thought that being a Barista would be nice – keep people happy with coffee – most everyone likes caffeine.
Generation Rennovation is what we need – refuse to work so much – Americans are addicted to over indulgence in everything – we are restless, constantly looking for fullfillment and never really finding it – instead we eat more, drink more and hope to find relief in religion – to each his own. Heck, I’ve fallen victim to all of the above – no one is above it! Good luck with the 8-5 monotony.
I just received an email with this video at 5:00p today – funny how coincidental life can be sometimes:
